Ukraine's ad market to top $1bn. President believes that Ukraine offers also unique opportunities for investing in publishing activities.
Ukraine's advertising market will exceed an important level of $1bn reaching $1.128bn in 2006, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko was cited by his press office as saying yesterday at a meeting with leaders of the World Association of Newspapers. Only five countries worldwide boast an annual growth of 30 percent on the advertising market, and Ukraine is one of them, the president added. Yushchenko also pointed out that Ukrainians were growing increasingly interested in periodicals. He believes that Ukraine offers vast and unique opportunities for investing in publishing activities.
